Troubleshooting & FAQ

The fixes for what goes wrong most often.

A judge can’t see a round

  1. Check they accepted the invitation with the address you invited.
  2. On Judging, check they are assigned to that round.
  3. Check the round is not locked.

Results can’t be published

The Not ready to publish notice on Results lists why. The usual causes:

A round has no judge, so its entries have no score. Put a judge on it from Judging.

A judge has not submitted. Ask them to press Submit all scores, or enter their marks with Paper sheet.

The rounds’ shares don’t add up to 100%. Fix them with Edit on each round.

The sponsor logo isn’t on the certificates

The strip is dropped if the signature leaves no room. The Sponsor logos part of Certificates says so.

Remove the signature scan to make room, then press Re-render with the current design.

A page is missing from my sidebar

Its part is switched off. Turn it on in Settings under What this event has.

People see "Entries are closed"

Set Where it is up to in Settings to Open, taking entries.

My import has fewer people than rows

Rows sharing an email address were merged into one person. Give them different addresses, or add an id column, and import again.

Questions people ask

Do participants need an account?
No. Everyone gets a private link to their own page. Only staff and judges sign in.
Is there a password?
No. Woven emails a sign-in code each time.
Can I undo an import?
Yes. Each file on Import & export has Undo this file.
Does changing the schedule notify people?
No email is sent. Their pages update straight away.
Does check-in work without Wi-Fi?
Yes. Scans wait on the phone and send when it is back online.
What happens when my event goes past the free size?
Nothing stops. Only sending in bulk waits for a pass.
Can I rename "Tracks" or "Participants"?
Yes. In Settings, under What you call things.
