Questions organisers ask
Do participants need an account or an app?
No. Each person gets a private link by email. It opens their own page in any browser, with their pass, team, schedule and hand-ins.
Can I start from the spreadsheet I already have?
Yes. Import a CSV or Excel sheet. Woven matches the columns and shows you what will happen before anything is saved.
What if the venue Wi-Fi fails on the day?
The scanner keeps checking people in from a copy of the list on the phone, and sends the scans once there is signal again. You can also print a paper list.
My volunteers have never seen it. Will they cope?
Give each one a role. They open a link on their phone and see only their job: the scanner, a judging sheet or a room.
What happens when my event goes past 59 people?
Nothing stops and nothing is lost. Check-in, passes and participant pages keep working. Emailing everyone, bulk certificates and export need an event pass.
How does someone check a certificate is real?
They scan its QR code or type its code on the verify page. No sign-in needed, even years later.
How do I pay?
Buy an event pass from Billing in your console. If a payment method you need is not there yet, write to hello@appwoven.com and it is sorted the same day.
